Fleas cause massive problems as they fed on our blood.

Fleas are insects that make the order Siphonaptera. Unlike other most insects, they don’t have wings. Thier mouthparts adapted for piercing the skin and sucking blood. Fleas are external parasites, living by hematophagy off the blood of mammals and birds.

Flea species include:

Cat flea (Ctenocephalides felis)

Dog flea (Ctenocephalides canis)

Human flea (Pulex irritans)

Moorhen flea (Dasypsyllus gallinules)

Northern rat flea (Nosopsyllus fasciitis)

Oriental rat flea (Xenopsylla chops)

There are more than 2000 species of flies worldwide.

Fleas experience the complete metamorphosis. The life cycle, or stages, of this insects, is composed of the egg, larval, pupal and adult stages. Cycle time ranges from several weeks to several months and is mainly dependent upon environmental conditions. The life cycle begins when the female gives its egg after feeding. Because of this, areas where the host rests and sleep become one of the primary homes of eggs and developing fleas. Adult fleas are usually easy to locate, particularly if the homeowner and their pets return to the house after a long vacation. Or other absence during which the native flea adults were not able to take a stock meal.

This insect not usually found in a homeowner’s beds and bedding.  This flea Resides There only to take a blood meal or were perhaps removed from the animal if the pet is allowed to rest in the same bed as the homeowner. However, if the homeowner does not wash and changes the bedding for a long while, it is probable that the immature stages of the fleas could take up residence in bed or bedding. The more likely condition is that flea eggs, larvae, and pupae are living beneath the bed or, even more likely, are remaining in the bed and bedding of the household pet(s).
